But the first wave starting in the nineteenth century failed.
What we are seeing now is a kind a neoliberal asphixiation. But that is different from the esoteric fascism I have pointed to.

The new age is precisely that modernity, and it has already created an explosion of consciousness. ”I doubt these are the people you should be worrying about as I think the New Age is mostly harmless at this point. We all know that a fascistic movement of some type is relishing the opportunity to come to the fore with the coming economic collapse. Personally, I think Chris Hedges has correctly identified the threat (If you don’t believe that Evangelicals can take over a country, then look at South Korea. Lee Kuan Yew has also mentioned that they are threatening the rest of Asia):
