Osho (Author), Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh
We were discussing last week the conservative fraud perpetrated by many New Agers figures, Gurdjieff being one of the worst.
This book by Rajneesh should set the tone for a different discussion, and a challenge to the idiots gurus now peddling reactionary antimodernism (like Andrew Cohen)

Osho was a tosser
So was Gurdjieff for that matter
But Gurdjieff, 100 years on and still going strong – will prove to be a bigger tosser than the vacuous Rajneesh.
If you’re still following Osho (seems like it) then you are still stuck in the mud – he was as much a con man as all the rest – just not as savvy as some (i.e. he was dumb tosser)
Probably time you got over it all….

Your remarks (i comment in a separate post today) are off the mark. I can’t see anything going in the Gurdjieff field. The Osho world by contrast has expanded to a vastness surrounding the ashram in Poona. Note that this is something larger than Osho and his historical moment. He created a starting point. Its future remains to be seen.
I am not sure what you mean by a ‘tosser’.
I am not a follower of Osho, and never was. If anything, as I look back on my youth and the distractions of the New Age movement I might regret this fact! That moment is gone now, lost, but with traces useful for a new future.

You don’t understand me at all, oK? I have penetrated all aspects of sufism, know its secret method, but have abandoned all of it. I think that you are having the problem indicated, knowing what is going on.
